 Conservation Commission
                Meeting
        January 21, 2010

Peg Arguimbau Chairman, Meredith deCarbonnel, Hank Langstroth, Stephen Cremer,
Elizabeth McGrath, and Keevin Geller were the members present.

7:45 p.m., Old/New Business:

-Agreement for Judgment, Lot 106 Eisenhower Drive:
The Commission reviewed the Agreement for Judgment submitted to the Norfolk Superior
Court on January 18, 2010 by Attorney Matt Watsky. The members of the Commission agreed
that the document accurately reflects the concerns of the Commission.

8:00 p.m., Approve Past Meeting Minutes:

Peg called for a motion to approve the January 7, 2010 Meeting Minutes as amended.
Keevin Geller moved. Elizabeth McGrath seconded. Voted. Unanimous.

8:10 p.m., Updates:

-Belcher Street Conservation Restriction Stewardship Fee Request:
The Commission reviewed a memo that Peg formulated to the Community Preservation Committee explaining the breakdown costs of the Belcher Street Conservation Restriction.
The Commission agreed to send the memo, along with their application, to the Community Preservation Committee to seek the funding required by the Mass. Audubon Society to steward and monitor the Massapoag Sportsmen’s Club and Town owned Conservation Restriction properties.

-The Commission’s proposed FY’11 Expense Budget:
The members of the Commission reviewed their proposed FY’11 Expense Budget and recommended
that it be submitted to the Finance Committee for approval.

-CPC Appointment:
-Peg stated to the Commission that Meredith deCarbonnel is unable to complete her term on the
Community Preservation Committee. Peg explained to the Commission that it is important to begin
thinking about appointing another member from the Commission to complete Meredith’s term.

-Wetlands Protection By-Laws & Rules and Regulations in the Town of Sharon:
The Conservation Administrator requested a review of the Wetlands Protection By-Laws & Rules and Regulations document, posted on the Commission’s website, for grammatical and spelling errors.
Stephen Cremer volunteered to review the document and report back to the Commission with his comments and corrections.

8:25 p.m., Signatures:

The Commission signed bills. Conservation Restrictions for Lot #s 2 & 3, 235 Billings Street,
DEP File # SE-280-0507. Certificate of Compliance for 75 Foundry Road, DEP File#SE-280-157. Certificate of Compliance for AvalonBay Communities, DEP File #SE-280-0484.

8:30 p.m., Adjournment:

Peg called for a motion to adjourn.
Keevin Geller moved. Elizabeth McGrath seconded. Voted. Unanimous.
